Being the archetypal Indian cricket-enthusiast -- one who is all the more an enthused lover of the game when it is played with real passion --- I can't help but express(even at the cost of being lynched) :
If Destiny were to hand over the ICC World Cup 2011 to a Champion - the most befitting of them all,I'm sure Destiny,having ensured that Poetic Justice be delivered,would have chosen Shahid Afridi.
If India were to miss the cup, I would still be happy if it went to Shahid Afridi.
